The beautiful town of Akbuk (meaning 'White Bay') sits nestled between the crystal clear waters of the Aegean sea and spectacular protected mountain forests and olive groves. The idyllic scenery, breathtaking sunsets and quiet beaches make Akbuk the perfect place to relax and unwind.
Historically a small fishing village supplying delicious Aegean Sea Bass, Akbuk has now been discovered by tourists attracted by it's unique blend of nature and history. Increasing numbers are moving into the area to share in the laid back lifestyle and health benefits - Akbuk is purported to have the lowest humidity and highest oxygen ratio in the whole of Turkey.
Akbuk's idyllic natural beauty is subject to strict preservation orders, a protection not afforded to other bigger, less exclusive resorts. The harbour is peaceful, even in summer, and has been awarded the internationally-recognised Blue Flag award for cleanliness. Aside from the picturesque bay and beaches there are a number of things to do in and around Akbuk so you can make your stay as relaxing or active as you like!
Dining
There is a wide range of restaurants, bars and cafes dotted along the harbour and beach-front where you can relax and take in the beautiful views. One of our favourite places to eat is The Garden Restaurant which sits overlooking the beach. It's laid-back friendly atmosphere is the perfect place to enjoy authentic local cuisine, the flavour of which is enhanced by the wood fired ovens and barbecue. Taking a 10-15 minute walk along the waterfront you will find a rich variety of restaurants/cafes offering food that caters to all tastes, including traditional local dishes.
Shopping
There are a variety of small shops in Akbuk. Fresh bread, fruit & vegetables are incredibly cheap. There is a local market every Friday, where you can buy freshly caught fish, vegetables, spices and clothing. There are also a variety of shops and modern supermarkets providing everything you would expect for your stay.

Mandalya Gardens Apartments are a mix of 2, 3 & 4 bed apartments and luxury 4 bed penthouses. Each apartment is modern, contemporary, bright and very spacious and has stunning seaviews and come with the following standard features:
Luxuries: Stunning sea views, large terraces, Internet access around pool, restaurant & bar and room service
General: Central heating, Air conditioning, satellite TV.
Standard: Kettle, crockery, cutlery, glassware, clothes dryer, iron and board.
Utilities: 4 ring hob, Fridge, Freezer, washing machine
Rooms: Depends on apartment size as to number of bedrooms, open plan kitchen, dining room and living area. En suite bathroom to main bedroom and separate 2nd bathroom.
Outdoors: Balcony / Terrace, Shared outdoor pool (unheated), Shared garden, restaurant, bar and childrens playground
Other: Linen & towels provided, all kitchen utensils and glassware and crockery
The apartments are all very spacious and make the most of the natural environment that surrounds them. On site you have a small shop for essentials, 24 hour reception area and evrything you need for a great self catering holiday
The resort offers a free shuttle service to the beach daily which is just 3 minutes drive away or a 20 minute stroll and they also offer (extra cost) trips to the nearby vibrant resort of Altinkum and the historical sites of The Temple of Apollo and Ephesus.
